Cancer Crusader is a Writer and Performer whose mission is to reveal the emotional realities of breast cancer, one story at a time.

Why? To change the way the world looks at breast cancer.

How, you may ask? A simple strategy: a secret alliance (sshh, don't tell).

Cancer Crusader's alter-ego is Nancy Baye, an actor, writer and breast cancer survivor who uses her experiences and skills to create powerful theatre. Together this dynamic duo is ultimately one-and-the-same, striving to enlighten, expand and enrich others' lives by opening the door on the world of breast cancer.

Cancer Crusader uses her keen senses to interpret the cries from Cancerville. Next, Nancy Baye steps in with her 'survivor-intellect' and unique imagination to create monologues. She then ventures out as performer to communicate the mindset of cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones.

Mixing comedy and drama, our Superhero touches audiences' hearts and minds, leaving them with a note of hope. Cancer Crusader has swooped into events across Canada in place of, or in additon to, a Keynote Speaker. Highlights include the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's Awareness Days, Kitchen Aid's Cook for the Cure Launch, and the Look Good Feel Better's 10th year Gala.

Ms. Baye trained at Toronto's Second City, and New York's Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. A prolific writer and performer on the subject of breast cancer, Nancy has many monologues as well as a one-woman theatrical trilogy, Adventures In Breast Cancer.

Cancer Crusader would love to help make your event a super success.
